ATR 37 – August 28, 2006 – Voicemail 206-203-3983 –

This is the third in a series of special episodes in which we will share with you segments written and produced by our team of Addicted to Race summer interns.

In this episode, Shamara Wyllie explores the experience of being a Trinidadian immigrant by interviewing her grandfather, her father, and then sharing her own thoughts. She discusses issues of culture, assimilation, authenticity and legitimacy.

We recently found out about a service that would allow us to do a live show, streamed over a Web site, and we could also take calls from you live. Is this something you think we should pursue? Please take our survey and let us know what you think!

Please help us reach new listeners by voting for us on Podcast Alley, reviewing us on Yahoo’s podcast directory and reviewing us in iTunes.

  2. Thanks for letting us know, Victoria! I’m about to post an explanation for why this is – keep a look out. :) –CVK
