I am a mother of two biracial children. When my 7 year old was in Kindergaden her teacher gave her a confederate flag out of the "prize box." She was the only one that recieved one. I complained to the principal and she apologized, but I still feel like that was not enough. I kind of felt like she was a little rude to my daughter as the school year progressed. What is your opinion on how I should have handled the situation, and should I leave it alone or go public even though it has been over a year? It still bothers me to this day.
